Glow Up

One of my very favorite elements of design is lighting. A good lighting plan changes everything, especially the mood of a space. The category is vast (i.e. wall, ceiling, floor, table, etc.) and can be used for practical purposes or simply for looks. If you can achieve two in one, you win. Scale is really important - fixtures that are too small or placed too high stand out in the wrong way. The lumens and color of your bulbs also play as big of a role as the fixture itself. Overly cool and bright screams sterile and yellowy-warm and dull reads dingy. A middle ground with warm white works best.
