No wicked stepmothers required. Mirrors are more than a reflection of your beautiful self, but a way to express your interiors style. Use them everywhere. Scale and shape play a big role for its purpose. It can be used practically (face check before leaving, getting dressed), artistically (multiple mirrors on a feature wall, backsplash for a retro bar), or for reflection (over a dining buffet with a killer chandelier, drama for the entryway). But please, not over the bed or on bi-fold closet doors. Frames provide more interest with endless options (wood, metal, stone, rattan) but infinity is cool, too. Compliment your existing hardware with a contrasting color (black/brass, polished nickel/aged bronze) or go crazy and match (note that wood stains and brass shades vary).
