If you've spent any time around interiors, you know wallpaper is all the rage. The old rules simply don't apply anymore. Pattern on pattern, texture galore, and saturated colors make for a fresh way to use this material. Whether it's to create a big impact or a subtle background, the essence of wallpaper is all about the drama (the good kind). Vintage-look, botanicals, and large birds are all having a moment, but abstract, geometric, and grasscloth will always be cool. Be sure to find a qualified installer and consider how the space will be used: is it near a bright window? does it have a high moisture count? is the goal to evoke calm or energy? There are two types of wallpaper: traditional (pre paste and non paste) for a quality, long-term look or peel and stick for a budget-friendly and flexible position.
